We use Lotus Notes (the worst form of email ever) at work. As I was logging out for the day I noticed this:

Nothing New

Not much new over here in the Midwest!

• I have been sick for 10 days in a row. It’s been really fun. Kind of bummed that I’m finally feeling better today.
• In the last two weeks I had to part ways with my brown and black boots. It was sad.
• Currently, my favorite snack is raw almonds mixed with raisins. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.
• I stumbled upon Teavana over the weekend and purchased my first bag of loose leaf tea. An old coworker bought me a tea pot as a going away gift at my last job. That was 7 months ago. I am excited to finally put it to use!
• I got a hair cut. Not just a typical “I need a trim and my layers redone.” I’m talking 8 inches of hair off my head.

Bloggers Block

I promise I have wanted to blog lately, I just really don’t have much to say and can’t seem to get creative enough to come up with something random.

I work, then I work a second job, I eat, I work out (not really), I sleep, I wake up and do it all over again.

I will leave you with this:

• It’s getting really cold here in Wisconsin
• Go Packers
• My landlord increased the price of laundry by 25 cents (jerks!)
• I have been eating way too much candy lately

Oh, and Saturday I drank a boot.

The blog is back

After an unintentional month long hiatus from blogging, I have decided to get back in to it. About a month ago I began to get very overwhelmed with all of the day to day things that I needed to tackle.  I am still feeling a lot of those pressure but over the last couple of days have been thinking about my blog/blogging again. Just this morning, Phil asked me if I was still blogging. When I told him I didn’t have the time lately he encouraged me to keep it up because he knows I really enjoy it.

So! Between me thinking about it lately and Phil encouraging me to start posting again, here I am.

If you have been following my blog all along then you will probably notice a few changes around here. Nothing is set in stone yet but I have been playing around with different color schemes and layouts and hopefully will stick with one soon. But until then, expect for it to change pretty often.

As far as a blogging schedule goes I am not sure that I will have one. One of the reasons I gave it up for the past month is because I put pressure on myself to blog daily. This is because the other successful blogs that I read on a daily basis post multiple times a day (3-4 times!). I am just not cut out for that at this point in time and have realized that it is okay. If I don’t blog for a day or two in a row then that is fine with me! 🙂

For now I am feeling motivated to keep playing around with different styles/colors/layouts on the good ol’ blog over here. Have a good end to the long weekend everyone!

Yes, this blog still exists. I promise to write lots of posts soon and update this thing. I have been so busy over the last week I haven’t had any time to update the blog world. Just thought I’d pop in and say hello. More to come later today about what has been going on in my life over the last week! But in the meantime,  happy Friday everyone!!
