This weekend was a great one! We had friends come and visit from Chicago. It is the same couple that Phil and I went to visit during our Chicago trip back in May. We hung out, played tennis, enjoyed a lake view dinner, and drank out of boots!

Vacation unemployment ends tomorrow! Today was my last day of not having a job (for now) and I didn’t feel bad one bit about being lazy. I spent the day soaking up the sun and reading a new book that I got from the library (yes, the library). It was very relaxing and exactly how I wanted to spend my last day off!
Did I mention that I am SO excited to start working tomorrow?! The last 5 weeks have been so stressful and pretty boring. I feel like I have finally adjusted to my life here in Wisconsin and it feels good. Starting work tomorrow will be the icing on the cake. 🙂
